Social Service Agencies & School Guidance Counselors

The Summer Camp partners with social service agencies and school counselors to connect with campers who may not know about the TSC program. For hundreds of girls from low-income and foster families, The Summer Camp is more than a one-time experience. In the face of family transitions and struggles, Summer Campers return to the place where they feel comforted and accepted – The Summer Camp. With the support of our dedicated partners, TSC offers the unique opportunity for girls to return to camp year after year, greatly enhancing the lasting benefits of their camp experience.

I have worked at Big Sister Association of Greater Boston for over 18 years and have been coordinating our summer camp program for the past seven years. The Summer Camp has been an invaluable partnership that we have had for over 20 years that helps provide our girls the opportunity to attend camp for free; otherwise they would not be able to afford and experience sleep away camp. I see that The Summer Camp helps our Little Sisters develop lifelong skills, foster growth and promote independence, resiliency and teamwork.”
